Maurice was married for 73 years. He retired from General Chemical at 60 and then worked at Belwood Farms for 20 years. Always on the move, he went sky diving on his 80th birthday, and was often seen in later years, all over town, covering great distances with his walking poles. His Fryer Street property was a gardener's delight.

Married for over 73 years, they were inseparable, and Helen reunited with Maurice for eternity only 27 days after he passed away.
