Mrs. Gertrude Beecroft Cooke of 665 E. 22d St., wife of Lt. Col. James P. Cooke, formerly of the 23d Regt., died suddenly yesterday. She is survived by her husband, who is well known in National Guard circles, and two children, Mrs. Frances C. Rudden and James Nelson Cooke. Services will be held tomorrow at 11 a.m. in St. Paul's Church, St. Paul's Place and Church Ave. Interment will be in Flushing Cemetery.
