General Notes: Husband - Floyd Warden "Wardie" Lucas

Wardie had been a farmer, carpenter and pipefitter by trade. In February of 1918 he was called up to serve in the Canadian Army during World War 1 and went overseas. After Flossie and Wardie married December 11, 1935 they lived on a farm in the hamlet of Middlemiss, Ontario. On May 2, 1962, they sold the farm and retired to nearby Melborne. notes kwb


General Notes: Wife - Flossie Mae Beecroft

Flossie was married December 11, 1935 in the United Church manse, Dutton, to Floyd Warden "Wardie" Lucas. After Flossie and Wardie married they lived on a farm in the hamlet of Middlemiss, Ontario. On May 2, 1962, they sold the farm and retired to nearby Melborne. Wardie passed away in 1970. Flossie was married December 1, 1972 in Melborne United Church to her second husband, James "Jim" Charles Foster. Jim was an electrician by trade and had served in the military during World War II. Jim died June 7, 1984. After Jim died, Flossie moved to an apartment in Byron, a suburb of London. Flossie later moved to a retirement care facility, Waverley Mansion in London. notes kwb
