• His obituary was published in The West Australian on 29 May 1914. BEECROFT. - On May 23, 1914, at Perth, W.A., Clement Simpson Beecroft, the dearly-beloved husband of Mrs. Jane Beecroft, of 56 Short-street, East Perth, and beloved father of Mr. S.W.M. Beecroft, of Subaico; Messrs. William and Percy Beecroft, of Perth; Mrs. F. Herbert, of Boulder City; and Mrs. D. Thompson, of Pingelly; and Miss Minnie Beecroft, of Perth; aged 69 years. At rest.

• His obituary was published in The West Australian (Perth, WA) on 5 Jun 1914. The funeral of the late Mr. Clement Simpson Beecroft, of 56 Short-street, East Perth, took place on the 29th ult. in the Anglican portion of the Karrakatta Cemetery and was very largely attended. The chief mourners were Mrs. J. Beecroft (widow), Simpson, WIlliam, and Percy Beecroft (sons), Mrs. G. H. Herbert, Mrs. R. H. Thompson, and Miss Minnie Beecroft (daughters), Mrs. W. Foster (sister), Mrs. S. W. M. Beecroft (daughter-in-law), Mr. W. Foster (brother-in-law), Mr. C.H. Herbert and Mr. R. H. Thompson (sons-in-law), Mrs. G. Cummings (niece), Messrs. R. Foster, James, William, John, and Tom McKay. Frank, Bert, and William Cummings, Frank and Percy Hannetty, Frank and Charles Keirnan (nephews). Mr. J. Beecham and Mr. and Mrs. L. Beecham (cousins), Mrs. W. Thorpe, and Mrs. Pollard. The pall-bearers were Messrs. W.H. Foster, J.G. Orton, G. Keirnan, and R. Terbott. Wreaths and floral tributes were received from many friends. The Rev. Robt. J. Craggs officiated. The funeral arrangements were carried out by Mr. Donald J. Chipper.
