Obituary for Bertram Beecroft, b. Hyde, England Feb. 17, 1869, one of 13 children of Dr. Samuel Beecroft and Sarah Bloor. In 1886 he went to Canada. In 1887 he settled in the Neuces Canyon of Uvalde Co., Texas, where he was a rancher and merchant. He married on Sept. 20, 1892 to Frances Ann Galbraith and had two sons. Bertram died Jan. 7, 1939.

Funeral services for Mrs. Frances Ann Beecroft, 83, who died Saturday at the Sid Peterson Memorial Hospital after a lingering illness, will be held this Sunday afternoon at 4 o'clock from the church of Ascension at Montell, Texas. Officiating at the last rites will be Dr. Beverly M. Boyd of Uvalde. Interment will be in the Montell Cemetery under direction of the Smith Funeral Home.
A native of Ireland, Mrs. Beecroft was born January 31, 1869, in Limnayady. She moved to Texas and settled on a ranch near Montell where the Galbraith family resided for years. For the past 13 years Mrs. Beecroft has lived in Kerrville with her sister, Miss Florrie Galbraith, and her brother, Dr. E. Galbraith, 924 Main Street. During this period she had gained a wide circle of friends who are grieved with her passing.
Survivors include two sons, S. R. Beecroft of San Marcos, and F. R. Beecroft of Uvalde; two sisters, Miss Florrie Galbraith of Kerville and Mrs. E.C. Molesworth of Austin; two brothers, Dr. E. Galbraith of Kerville, and J.C. Galbraith of El Paso. Six grandchildren also remain to mourn the passing of this splendid woman.
