Benjamin Franklin Becraft, 59, of 52 East Twentieth, who died Sunday at his residence, was buried in Mountain View Cemetery this afternoon. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Andrew Grieve in G. W. Hamilton's Chapel.
Mr. Beecroft was born in Ontario and came to Vancouver twenty-five years ago. Prior to coming to the Coast he resided in Brandon. He also spent several years in Keiowna where he was well-known in fraternal organizations.
Youngest son of the late Edward Beecroft of Ontario, he is survived by his wife, four daughters, Mrs. L. Morgan, Mrs. A. Diebel, Mrs. C. Drew and Mrs. E. Erickson, and a son, Hayden. He also leaves four brothers, George of Owen Sount, James of Fort William, Thomas of Collingwood and Robert in Duntroon, Ont.

Funeral services for Mrs. Jessie Beecroft Graham, who died Monday at her home, 269 West Thirty-second, will be held Thursday in G.W. Hamilton's chapel with Rev. Andrew Grieve officiating. Born in Wales, Mrs. Graham had lived in Vancouver for 34 years. She is survived by her husband, two sons, Ernest Louis and Haydn Beecroft of Vancouver; four daughters, Mrs. A. L. Morgan, Mrs. Jessie Diebel, Mrs. T. R. Cuddeford and Mrs. E. G. Erickson, all of Vancouver; 14 grandchildren, one sister and three brothers. Interment will take place at the family plot in Mountain View Cemetery.

Benjamin, born 1871/72, was the son of Edward Beecroft (b. England) and Mary Hood (b. Oct. 31, 1827 Dalhousie Twp, Lanark Co., Ontario). Mary was the daughter of James Hood and Margaret Bisland who are buried at Creemore Cemetery, Simcoe County, Ontario.
Benjamin married Jessie Mary Ann Jones. Jessie was about 10 years younger than Benjamin, and was born in Wales. Her burial location is not yet known. She may have remarried.
