General Notes: Husband - Almon Edwin "Almy" Beecroft
During World War 11 Almy served in the Canadian Army. After his discharge, Almy became employed at London Concrete Machinery Company. There he learned the trades of electrical journeyman, gas fitter, stationary operating engineer, and millwright. Almy and Hilda were strong members of Richards United Church in London. They were very social and had a number of interests including square dancing, music and cards. Almy and Hilda enjoyed friends and family and always had fun. After 65 years of strong loving marriage, Almy and Hilda were very much "in tune" with each other. Almy was the patriarch of this branch of the family, and had a great love and knowledge of it's history. notes kwb
