• Her obituary was published in The Edmonton Journal on 10 Sep 2004. Of Vermilion passed away in the Alice Keith Nursing Home at the age of 100 years. Ada will be sadly missed by her children, Anne (Harry) Cox of Vernon, Alfred (Rose) Beecroft of Edmonton, Ross (Carol) Beecroft of Vermilion, Delle Lovig of Medicine Hat and Rose (Bob) Hartwell of Dawson Creek; nine grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren; sister Doris Bell of Vermilion; brother-in-law Ken Alton of Kelowna and numerous nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service will be held at St. Saviour's Anglican Church, Vermilion, on Monday, September 13, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. with Father Peter Yeung officiating. Interment will follow in the Vermilion Public Cemetery. Memorial Donations may be made to the Friends of the Vermilion Health Centre, St. Saviour's Anglican Church, the Vermilion Cemetery Fund or the charity of the donor's choice. Lakeland Funeral Home Vermilion in care of arrangements. Phone 780-853-5100.
