• His obituary was published on 2 Aug 1967. Graveside services for Orville Beechraft, 22, Honor, who was killed Monday in a motorcycle accident, will be held Friday at 2:00 p.m. at the Platte Township Cemetery, Benzie County. The Rev. George Agin of Honor Congregational Church will officiate.
Orville Beechraft was born July 18, 1945 in Homestead Township and was a lifelong resident of the Honor area.
He is survived by his four brothers, Sidney of Honor, John of Interlochen, Andrew of Muskegon, and William of Honor, and his four sisters, Mrs. Barbara Marr of Oregon, Mrs. Mary Taghon of Empire, Mrs. Ellen Knacht of Germany and Mrs. Lucy Wright of Benzonia. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Beechraft.
The body is at the Bennett Funeral Home in Benzonia and will be taken to the cemetery at 1:00 p.m. Friday.
