• Her obituary was published in the Euroa Advertiser on 30 May 1890. Death.
BECROFT.-On the 24th May, at her parent's residence, " Woodbine, "Long- wood, Margaret C. (Mim) the dearly loved daughter of William and Marion Becroft; aged 26 years.
Call not back the dear departed, Anchored safe where storms are o'er;
On the border land we left her, Soon to meet to part no more.
Far beyond this world of changes, Far beyond the world of care,
We shall find our missing loved one In our Father's mansion fair.

• Her obituary was published in the Euroa Advertiser on 30 May 1890. Distriet News.
[From our OWN CORRESPONDENTS.]
LONG WOOD.
Quite a gloinn was cast over the township on Friday last when the news arrived that Mr. Joseph Brook hald succumbed to an attack of typhoid fever. Deceased was well-known in this town, having estab lished a saw-mill here six or seven years ago. After his marriage he removed to Burnt Creek, and in coujuuction with his brother, established a large mill trade at the latter place. Lately Mr. Brook desired a change, and visited New South Wales in search of land, and it is supposed that during the journey he contracted the disease whicih has so fatally terminated. Deceased was universally respected for his many manly qualities, and being an earnest and liberal supporter of cricket and other manly sports, his sudden demise leaves a gap in our little communuity that will not be easily filled. He leaves a young wife and two children to mourn his loss, and his many brothers and the distiict generally have lost a much-respected and valued member of the community. The remains were interred in the Avenel cemetery on Saturday, a large concourse of friends joining the 'procession. The fulneral service was impressively con ducted by the Rev. T. II. Kent, of Euroa. It is also my sorrowful duty to record the death of Miss Maggie Becroft, who succumbed to an attack of influenza, which culminated in congestion of the lungs, and ended fatally on Saturday last. Deceased has suffered for soime time, having had an attack of-rheumatic fever some four years ago, and from which, it appears, she never completely recovered. During her life Miss Becroft made friends of all who knew her, and her death at the early age of 25 years is deeply regretted by the rcsidents of Longwood, who are loud in their expressions of sympathy to wards the bereaved family. The funeral, which was attended by representatives from almost every family in the district, took place on Tuesday. The cortedge started on foot from the residence of Mr. Becroft, sir., three of deceased's brothers and Mr. Pemberton acting as pall-bearers, and wended its sorrowful way to the Church of England, which was quite filled with the numerous friends of the family. Service was conducted by Rev. A. A. Wiltshire in a very impressive manner, -Miss Maxlield ofliciating at the organ. After the service the procession moved to the cemetery, where the ceremony was concluded. The funeral arrangeusents were satisfactorily, carried out by Mr. J. M. Grant.

• Memoriam: Euroa Advertiser, 22 May 1891. In Memoriam.
GARRETT.- In loving remembrance of Maurice Garrett, who died May 20th, 1889, aged 2 years 10 months. Death called dear little sonny To a very early grave; But his soul so white and spotless Has returned to Him that gave.

BECROFT.-In affectionate remembrance of our dear friend Magggie Becroft, who died 24th of May, 1890.
Oh ! who would forget so dear a friend Who was always true and sincere? Oh! who would not look on her grave And shed an affectionate tear? We miss the pleasant loving face, We shall see no more on earth; But fleeting time can not efface The memory of her worth.
Inserted by C. and S. Pratt.

• Memoriam: Euroa Advertiser, 29 May 1891. In Memoriam.
BECROFT.--In fond and loving remembrance of our darling sister, M. C. (Mimmie), who died at "Woodbine," Longwood, on the 24th May, 1890.

Rock of Ages cleft for me. Not dead to those who love her. Not dead, but goto before ; She lives with us in memory still As in the days of yore. Farewell dear sister, thy life is past, Our love for thee to the end will last. The trial was hard, but we'll not complain, But trust in God we shall meet again.

Inserted by her loving and affectionate brother and sisters, S. M., C. and L. Becroft.

BECROFT. - In Loving remembrance of our dear sister "Mimmie," who died at "woodbine," Longwood, 24th May 1890.
Safely shielded from all sorrow,
From the cares of earth set free,
Where there is no dark to-morrow,
Oh, how happy she must be.

Farewell our loved one, restuntil the morning, Rest in God's love, whose faith was thy adorning! Thou see'st now the King so long adored, Blessed art thou --"For ever with the Lord."
