Mr. Wilbur V. Becraft, 79, died Friday, June 16, 2006. Services will be private. Mr. Becraft, a native of Garnerville, N.Y., had been a resident of Greenville for the past 20 years. He was employed with Burroughs-Wellcome until his retirement. He was a member of the EAA in Farmville and was a licensed pilot. Surviving are his wife, Velva Ellen Becraft; sons, Kent Becraft of Kernersville and William "Buzzy" Becraft of New York; sisters, Lisa B. Hurley of Connecticut and Lauren Becraft of New York; and eight grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be made to Focus Care/End of Life Care Coalition of Eastern Carolina, P.O. Box 33, Greenville, NC 27835. Arrangements are by Wilkerson Funeral Home and Crematory.
