She was a 96 year old native of Breathitt County, daughter of the late John D. and Emma Dykes Hampton, and housewife. She is survived by a daughter, Patricia Becraft (Cecil) Sexton of St. Charles, Missouri, a son, Michael (Nina) Covey of Jeffersonville, a daughter-in-law, Joannie Covey, 8 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
Her graveside service will be 12:30 Monday at Lovely-Amburgey Cemetery. Visitation is 10-12:00 Monday at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals. Special thanks to the nurses at Windsor Care Center.
