CHARLES CLIFTON PORTER, 26 West Potomac Street, Brunswick, died Thursday morning at Schnauffer Hospital in Brunswick, after a short illness, aged 53 years. He was a son of the late Charles Franklin and Mary Elizabeth Baylis Porter and was a member of the Bethany Lutheran Church, Brunswick.
Besides his wife, Mrs. Verlie Becraft Porter, he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Freeman and Mrs. Frank Manuel, both of Washington; three brothers, Alonza and Herbert Porter, this city, and Raymond Porter, Brunswick, and one sister, Mrs. Irene Thomas, Brunswick.
Funeral services were held at Bethany Lutheran Church; interment was in Park Heights Cemetery; arrangements by Jessie S. Dailey, funeral director.
