He was an 85 year old native of Montgomery County, son of the late Shirley Becraft Sr. and Lina Whitt Plick, a farmer and member of the Pentecostal Church. He is survived by a son, Kenneth Becraft of Mt. Sterling, a daughter, Shirley (Robert) Foster of Richmond, 4 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, a sister, Elsie Byrd of Mt. Sterling, and a brother, Irvin Becraft of Indiana. He was preceded in death by his stepmother, Mattie Becraft and 3 brothers, Thomas, and Charles Becraft and Jimmy Miles. His funeral will be 11:00 Saturday at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals with burial in Crown Hill Cemetery. Visitation is 6-9:00 Friday.
