Scott F. Becraft, 74, 4411 S. Road 00 East-West Lot 19B, died at 7:50 p.m. Thursday, May 16, 1996, at his residence. On Feb. 8, 1922, in Fayette County, he was born to Walter and Hanna (Crews) Becraft. On Oct. 12, 1968, in Kokomo, he married Donna J. (Newlin) Becraft, she survives.
He retired in Jan 1985 after 34 1/2 years from Haynes International were he was a furnace operator. He also worked on and off for Drago Amusements for 40 years. He served in the U.S. National Guard and the National Guard of Indiana. He was a member of Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church. He was a 20-years member of Fraternal Order of Eagles Lodge 255, where he served as president from 1986-1987. He was a member of the Moose Lodge in Peru. He had 500 hours of driving for the bloodmobile.
Also surviving are three sons and two daughters-on-law, Fred and Linda Becraft, Chula Vista, Calif., Kenneth Allen and Rose Becraft, Kokomo, and Bruce Wayne Becraft, Kokomo; and adopted son, Albert Dennis, Kokomo; five daughters and four sons-in-law, Sandra Kay and Mike Adams, Kokomo, Theresa Ann and Eugene Evans, Kokomo, Dawn E. and Gary Duke, Indianapolis, Judy and Tony Salazar, Okinawa, Japan, and Kim BOntrager, Peru; 24 grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren; a brother and a sister-in-law, Herbert and Irma Becraft, Kokomo; and several nieces and nephews.
Also preceding him in death were a brother, a sister, and one grandchild.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Ellers Mortuary Webster St. Chapel, 3400 S. Webster St. The Revs. Melvin Eller and Algie VanWinkle will officiate. Burial will be in Albright Cemetery, with full military honors by Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1152. Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, with a Fraternal Order of Eagles Lodge 255 serice at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Fraternal Order of Eagles Lodge 255.

Obituary of Donna Jean Becraft
Donna Jean Becraft, 84 of Kokomo, passed away Tuesday, October 2, 2018. She was born August 16, 1934 to the late Margaret R. (Jarrett) and Herman D. Newlin. She married Scott Becraft in 1968. He preceded her in death in 1996.
Donna graduated from Western High School. She loved to fish and crochet. Donna loved spending time with her grandkids.
Surviving Donna are her daughters Theresa (Eugene) Evans and Dawn (Gary) Duke, stepsons Fred Becraft, Kenneth Becraft and Bruce Becraft, brothers Joseph (Kay) Newlin and Steven Newlin, sisters Linda Hayes and Diane, 18 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
Preceding her in death is her late husband, stepdaughter Sandy Adams and sisters Ruth E. White and Maryanne.
Services for Donna will take place at Ellers Mortuary Webster Chapel Monday October 8, 2018 at 12pm. The family will offer visiting hours prior to the service from 10am to 12pm. Burial will follow at Albright Cemetery.Marriage Events
