• Her obituary was published. Donette Carol (Leslie) Becraft, 75, residing in Huron, passed away Tuesday afternoon, May 19, 2020 at The Meadows at Osborn Park following a lengthy illness.
Donette was born on August 7, 1944 in Sandusky, OH to the late Donovan and Marian (Riesterer) Leslie.
Donette was a machine operator at Sandusky Plastic for 15 years. She was a member Faith Memorial Church. In her spare time, she enjoyed crocheting, bowling, watching Christmas movies, baking with the kids and spending time with her family and friends.
Donette is survived by her husband, Russell Becraft, whom she married on June 20, 1964. She is also survived by her two daughters, Tracy (Jerry) Yost of Huron and Megan (Larry) Balduff of Parma; grandchildren, Chandra (Ed) Barnes, Amber Costello, Aaron Costello, Ryan (Andrea) Yost, Little Larry, Makayla and Marcus; great-grandchildren, Christian, Madison, Emma, Peyton, Camden and MaKenzie; sisters, Karen Pilgrim of Toledo, Brenda (Andrew) Blakely of Lorain and Luann (Chuck) Peters of Sandusky; brother, Danny Leslie of FL; sister-in-law, Pat Leslie of IN and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
In addition to her parents, Donette is preceded in death by her two sisters, Judy Fox and Mary Lou Johnson and brother, Larry Leslie.
Private family will be held at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E Perkins Ave, Sandusky. Pastor Ken Hisor of Faith Memorial will officiate services.
