• His obituary was published. Walter J. Dickman, 77, of Smithfield, passed away peacefully on Saturday morning, June 22, 2013 at the Hebert Nursing Home, in Smithfield.

Born in Troy, New York, he was the son of the late Walter J. and Roberta (Dennis) Daigneault.

Prior to retirement, Walt was employed as a machine operator for Kenyon Industries, for several years, retiring in 1998.

He served his country proudly during the Korean War with the United States Air Force.

Walter was involved in many organizations such as, the disabled American Vertans (DAV), Buttonwoods Senior Citizens, Veterans Support Organization, American Parkinson Disease Association, Sampson Air Force Base Association. He was also a fellow member of the Westminster Unitarian Church in East Greenwich. Walt also was a fitness instructor ad the Kent YMCA.

He leaves his three sons, Thomas M. Dickman and Kevin J. Dickman, of New Jersey, and Rojewa G. Dickman, of Ohio. He was the father of the late Erna Lewis. Walt also left behind many friends.

Committal prayers and Interment, with military honors, will be held on Friday, June 28, 2013 at 1:45 pm, at the Columbarium Committal Chapel in the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Please gather at the cemetery's administration building parking area at 1:30 pm, where we will form a procession to the chapel. Arrangements by Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home

DAVIS, Rose A., 59, of Springfield passed away February 24, 2015 in Springfield Regional Medical Center. She was born in Greenup, KY the daughter of Harve H. and Norma Jean Becraft. She is survived by her husband, Larry Davis; two children, Jenifer (Arthur) Nicholson, Indiana and Rojewa Dickman; six grandchildren, Taylor, Ace, Nathan, Caleb, Britteny and Rojewa Jr.; three siblings, Floyd Collins, Shyanne Griffin and Rick Becraft and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Debora Becraft and a two brothers, J.T. Becraft and Harv Becraft Jr.
