• Her obituary was published. Jacquelyn Ann Becraft, 65, of Springfield, passed away April 12, 2023, in Springfield Regional Medical Center. She was born March 17, 1959, in Springfield, the daughter of Donald and Nettie (Griffin) Sherrock. Mrs. Becraft enjoyed doing crafts and spending time with her loving grandchildren but her favorite thing in life was her job at Eby-Brown, She had worked there for 20 plus years and truly enjoyed her job and making friends with her many coworkers. Survivors include four children; Richard (India) Becraft, Michael (Ina) Becraft, Kevin Becraft and Amy (Jesse) Mitchem Sr., grandchildren; Cameron Becraft, Layla Becraft, Katie Davis, Brittney Becraft, R. J. Becraft, Kyra Hornberger, Caleb Becraft, Jesse Mitchem Jr., Brook Mitchem and Marie Mitchem, great grandson; Carter Dean Watterson, siblings; Connie Buck, Brenda (Cecil) Wilson, Donna Snyder and Barbara Avery and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a grandchild; McKenzie Becraft, siblings; Debbie Klee and Kag Griffin and her parents. A gathering of family and friends to celebrate Mrs. Becraft's life will be held from 10:00 AM until 12:00 Noon on Monday, April 22, 2024, in the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME. Following the services, a gathering will be held from 1:00PM until 6:00PM at the Journey of Faith Church, 163 North Chillicothe Street, South Charleston, Ohio 45368. The family will have snacks and food for anyone wanting to gather.
