Rebecca Diane Stein, 52, of Kodak Tennessee, died Tuesday, May 31, 2005 in Sevierville, Tennessee, from injuries received in an auto accident. She was born December 20, 1952 in Kokomo, Indiana to Herbert Becraft and Imo Jean (Gibson) Reich Ward.

Diane married Peter Eugene Stein on April 7, 1990; he died July 4, 2001. She was engaged to Michael Ward who died suddenly on Dec. 29, 2001. She was a long time member of the Kokomo V.F.W. Auxillary, and was a 1970 graduate of Kokomo High School. She attended Walter State Culinary Arts School in Tennessee.

She is survived by her two daughters, Betsy Reylene Kernel and Brandy Renae Kernel both of Sevierville; her two brothers, Tony (Kelly) Reich of Peru and Craig (Jeananne) Reich of Noblesville, Tennessee. Her two sisters: Beverly Kay Wohlford of Tennessee and Lori Becraft of Kokomo. Also surviving are eight grandchildren, Cinnamon Elizabeth Rader, Jasmine LaVerne (Kevin)Thomas, Logan Grey Kernel, William Cody Arwood, Kayla Reylene Arwood, Storm Michael Owens, Eric Dewayne Howell, and Shelby Reylynn Howell; two great grandchildren; and a special best friend, Marsha Bristol of Kokomo. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, one sister and her grandparents.

Funeral services will be at Grandstaff-Hentgen Roann Chapel, 335 S. Chippewa Street, Roann, Indiana, on Tuesday, June 7, 2005 at 11:00am. Burial will be in the Roann Community Cemetery, Roann. Friends may call from 9-11am Tuesday at the funeral home.
