He was born September 18, 1932 in Bath County, KY and lived in Middletown since 1956. He served in the U. S. Army during the Korean War. He was employed as a Press Operator on the Transmission Line at Ford Motor Company in Sharonville. The family wishes to express their special thanks to Dr. Mary Ellen Gaeke, and Kim for their professional care during his time of illness. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roe and Elsie (Griggs) Becraft; daughter, Charma Caroll; six brothers, Howard, Paul Joseph, Wallace, Thorton, Brooks and Arlie. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Emily Florence Becraft; five children, Kathy Jones of Olympia, KY, Barbara (Pat) McKnight of Monroe, OH, Michael (Crystal) Becraft of Middletown, OH, Jeff (Jenny) Becraft of Monroe, OH and Tracey (Butch) Bowling of Middletown, OH; 12 grandchildren: Jennifer Jones, Kelly Jones, Steven Jones, Lane Michael and Chloe Becraft and their mother, Denise, Katie Becraft, Logan Becraft, Emily Bowling, Amie Bowling, Josh Bowling, Adam McKnight, and Lilly Becraft; three great grandchildren, Jasmine, Taylor and Dalton; brother, Caroll Becraft of Olympia, KY, sister, Mary Catherine Smith of Olympia, KY; and many nieces, nephews and special friends. Visitation will be March 3, 2008 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Herr-Riggs Funeral Home, 210 S. Main St., Middletown, OH and March 5, 2008 from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the City of Refuge Church, Olympia, KY. Funeral Services will be March 5, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at the City of Refuge Church, Olympia, KY, with Pastor Mike Mundy, Pastor Dave Adams and Pastor Willard Johnson officiating. OBITUARY FOR EMILY FLORENCE "FLO" BECRAFT
BECRAFT, Emily Florence "Flo", age 76, of Middletown, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at Hospice of Butler and Warren Counties. She was born June 11, 1939 in Jackson, Kentucky and lived in Ohio for over 50 years. She was employed as a material handler at Diamond International for 15 years. She attended God's Lighthouse Church and was very involved in her community. The family extends their special thanks and appreciation to Hospice of Butler and Warren Counties for their loving and professional care of their mother during her illness. Preceding her in death were her parents, James L. and Willie Delphia Mann Fugate; her husband, Ray "Tootle" Becraft in 2008; one daughter, Charma Carroll; one son-in-law, Patrick McKnight; one brother, Arvil; and four sisters, Jewell, Dallas Fern, Flossie and Lizzie Bee. She is survived by five children, Kathy Jones, Barbie McKnight, Mike (Crystal) Becraft, Jeff (Jenny) Becraft and Tracey Becraft; thirteen grandchildren, Lane and Chloe and their mother Denise, Jennifer, Kelly, Steven, Adam, Lilly, Caleb, Katie, Logan, Emily, Amie and Josh; five great grandchildren, Breya, Dalton, Jazzy, Taylor, and Ava; two brothers, Clyde Fugate and Reed (Sue) Fugate; one sister, Thelma Ziler; many nieces and nephews; and life-long friends, Ova and Mary Ruth Wireman. Visitation will be Sunday, March 6, 2016 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Herr-Riggs Funeral Home, 210 S. Main St., Middletown, followed by services at 4:00 p.m. with Pastor Chris King officiating. There will also be a visitation Monday, March 7, 2016 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the City of Refuge Church, Olympia, Kentucky, followed by services at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Mike Mundy officiating. Interment will be at the Mann Cemetery, Olympia, Kentucky. Memorial contributions may be made to the United Spinal Association at unitedspinal.org or to Hospice of Butler and Warren Counties, 5940 Long Meadow Drive, Franklin, Ohio 45005.
