Events

• Event: 1791. James Wade, in Draper Mss 12 CC 15, indicates that among the prisoners taken in the Indian raid on Morgan's Station, "were Clarinda Allington, Baker's wife, a sister of A. Robinson, Baker's dau, Joe Young's wife, and Rachel Becraft...."
James Wade also says in Bath County, KY, Court Order Book B, p. 358, that Rachel was one of the children who escaped.
David Paul Roderick in The Genealogy of Peter Becraft in America, p. 154, says that Rachel Becraft died 9 Apr 1827 in Preble County, Ohio. He further says that Jacob John Winans was born in New Jersey and died 24 Apr 1836.
