• His obituary was published in the Madison Courier on 26 Aug 2008. James Robert Kuhlman, 50, of North Vernon, formerly of Trimble County, Ky., died Saturday, Aug. 23, 2008 at his residence.
He was born Jan. 17, 1958, in Tampa, Fla., the son of Jack and Loraine Stangle Kuhlman. He was employed with the Trimble County Road Department for nine years. He enjoyed watching wrestling and going boating.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Elaine Kuhlman, who died in 2002; and his father.
The funeral was at Wood-Oakley Funeral Home in Milton, Ky. Burial was with his wife in Moffett Cemetery.

• Her obituary was published. Elaine Kuhlman, 42, of 1093 New Hope Road, Bedford, Ky., died Wednesday, March 6, 2002, at her home.
She was born Feb. 18, 1960, in Madison, the daughter of Harold and Jesse Becraft.
Surviving are her husband, Bobby Kuhlman; a daughter, Karla Kuhlman of Milton; two sons, Michael Kuhlman of Madison and Mark Kuhlman of Hanover; five sisters, Roseline Hunter and Betty Troxell, both of Bedford, Donna Hernandez of Sullivan City, Texas, Vicki Carlutti of Tampa, Fla., and Patty Welch of Carrollton, Ky.; three brothers, Bobby Whitaker of Milton, Edward Whitaker of Madison and James Whitaker of Brooksburg; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister, Margaret Maddox.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Wood-Oakley Funeral Home in Milton, with burial in the Moffett Cemetery.
Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. today, and from 9 a.m. Saturday until the services at the funeral home.
