• His obituary was published. Richard Nathan Penrod, born to Milford and Hazel Penrod on February 19, 1934, passed away at age 84 on November 9, 2018 in Elkhart, Indiana. Richard was the loving husband of Norma. He had two brothers, Harold and Leonard who are both deceased. He is survived by his son, Richard (Tammy) Penrod Jr.; daughters, Penny (Fred) Mohler, Pam (Jim) Hertel, and Paula Minch; and stepdaughters, Cheryl (Roger) Hunt, Karen (Cobey) Bartlett, Janice Davis, and Kim (Don) Fisher. He had several grand, great grand and great great grand children. He was a member of Bristol Church of the Nazerene and was active in his church. Richard knew the Lord and had no doubt where he would spend eternity. He had a gracious, loving heart. He loved feeding and watching the birds in his back yard, it gave him much enjoyment. He also loved their little dog Cuddles. Richard was a Butcher for Plumrose many years and owned The Pizza Stable in Bristol. He and his wife enjoyed 29 wonderful years together. Cremation will be taking place and there will be no services.

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Norma Penrod (Elkhart, Indiana), born in Anderson, Indiana, who passed away on November 24, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Clarence BeCraft and Mary BeCraft (Tharp); her husband Richard Penrod; her son Ray Cunningham; and her siblings, Judy Braddock, Carolynne Johnson, Bob BeCraft, Terry BeCraft and Clarence "Junior" BeCraft.
She is survived by : her daughters, Cheryl Hunt (Roger), Karen Bartlett (Cobey), Janice Davis and Kim Fisher (Don); and her brothers, Bill BeCraft (Betty), Mike BeCraft and David BeCraft. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and3 great-great-grandchildren.

Norma G. Penrod, 82, passed away November 24, 2021 at Riverside Village. She was born March 30, 1939 in Anderson to Clarence & Mary (Tharp) BeCraft.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 30 years, Richard Penrod, son, Ray Cunningham, 5 siblings, Judy Braddock, Carolynne Johnson, Bob BeCraft, Terry BeCraft, and Clarence "Junior" BeCraft.
Surviving are 4 daughters, Cheryl (Roger) Hunt, Karen (Cobey) Bartlett, Janice Davis, Kim (Don) Fisher, 17 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Also surviving are 3 siblings, Bill (Betty) BeCraft, Mike BeCraft and David BeCraft.
Norma operated and owned Pizza Stable in Bristol with her husband. She also worked at ER Carpenter and cleaned for many years. Norma loved the Lord and her church family and was a member of Bristol Church of the Nazarene. She also enjoyed sewing, crafting, and creating many things.
Per her wishes cremation will take place and there will be no services at this time. Elkhart Cremation Services has been entrusted with the arrangements.
