Nancy seems to have died in childbirth or shortly after at the age of 19 years, 4 months and 3 days. She is buried in the Mountain Home Road Cemetery, Morehouse, NY. In 1850, John was living in Morehouse in the home of Havilla Winchell and their 2-year-old son was living with Nancy’s brother, Frederick. It is assumed that Peter died shortly after the census was taken. Neither John nor Peter appears on a Morehouse census after 1850.
