• Her obituary was published. Warner Robins, GA- Lillian Osborn Becraft, 90, went home to be with her husband in heaven on September 12, 2017. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 15, 2017 from 12:00PM '96 1:00PM at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. Graveside services at Andersonville national Cemetery will be private for the family only.
Mrs. Becraft was born February 13, 1927 to the late Freeman and Violet Osborn in Elmira Hts., New York. She had a wonderful marriage to Myron Becraft and they took the first ten years of their marriage to travel all over the world and just enjoy each other. In 1960, they settled at Shirley Hills in Warner Robins bringing their two young daughters, Bonnie and Barbara.
Here they remained for the rest of their lives raising their beloved daughters. Myron worked on the base and Lillian as a homemaker and nurse at local nursing homes and Houston Medical Center for many years. A hobby she enjoyed was painting and she had a busy social life filled with many friends.
Another thing she enjoyed was caring for her grand-daughter and niece when they were young. Lillian was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Myron (Bud) Becraft, a daughter, Barbara Becraft-Jones, and a sister, Shirley Woodruff Callear. Her memory will forever be lovingly cherished by her daughter, Bonnie Becraft; her grand-daughters, Ansley Smart and Amy (Dan) Johnston; great grandchildren, Anistyn, Aria, Elizabeth, and William; niece, Linda (Chuck) Ruzczak; and very close family friends, Rita Ritchie and Cindy Strickland.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Alzheimer"s Association.
