Wallingford, Conn., June 24. -- Miss Mildred Madolin Becroft, of Wallingford, was graduated yesterday afternoon from the New England Conservatory of Music. Boston, the pioneer among American schools devoted to educating pupils who desire to make a serious study of music with a view to a professional career in some branch of the art. Commencement exercises were held in Jordan hall of the Conservatory building and were largely attended by relatives and friends of the graduates from every section of the United States.

They consisted of a concert by a chosen soloists of the senior class and by the Conservatory orchestra, conducted by George W. Chadwick, director of the Conservatory; an address to the class by Wallace Goodrich, dean of the faculty, and the presentation of diplomas and special certificates by the director.

Miss Becroft was graduated in the teachers' pianoforte course, which gives students an opportunity to gain practical experience in the art of teaching under the instruction and supervision of regular members of the faculty.

Daughter of William Ebben Becroft and Annie Elizabeth Hobson. Married John H George of Pennsylvania at the age of 38 and they were married for about 2 years and living in Lawrence, Cumberland, NJ in the 1930 Census. Unsure whether they ever had children. Mildred lived to age 90 but died a widow. She is buried with her parents and sister Gladys who died as an infant. 1
