Roy W. Moore, 73, 1523 W. Seventh St. died Sunday afternoon at his home.
Born in Bellfonte, Ark., he lived in Anderson for the past 60 years. He retired from Delco-Remy Division in 1972 as a tool and die-maker after 45 years. He was a member of the Fifth Street United Methodist Church, Killbuck Retirees Club and UAW Local 662.
Surviving are the wife, Mildred Becraft Moore; two children, Roy W. Moore, Jr., Mrs. Francis L. Layton, both of Anderson; a sister, Mrs. Mavis Vail, Anderson; a half brother, Gordon Lee Gustin, Marlboro, Md.; four grandchildren and six great children.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Harold E. Rozelle Funeral Home with the Rev. Carl Ricks officiating. Burial will be in the Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 p. m. and to 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
