• His obituary was published. Paul R. Yorn, 63, 833 W. Second St., Rushville, Ind., died at 2:15 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 5, 1991 in the VA Medical Center on West 10th St., Indianapolis.

He was born June 16, 1928 in Batesville, Ind., the son of Russell T. and Gladis Viola Wises Yorn. He was a retired shop worker from the factory at Hill-Rom Industries.

He was U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict, and a former member of the VFW.

On Oct. 14, 1957, he married Martha Alice Logston, and she survives; with six sons, Charles W. Kaster, Fairland, Ind., Hershel L. Kaster, Carthage, Ind., Harley M. Kaster and Herman T. Yorn, both of New Castle, Ind., and Rick Yorn II, Richmond, Ind.; five daughters, Mayme Sue Smith and Sarah R. Smothers, both of Shelbyville, Ind., Carrie Kay Edwards and Alcie Yorn, both of Rushville, Ind., and Starletta Snedegar, Raleigh, Ind.; three brothers, Tommy and Lewis Yorn, both of Greensburg, and Charles Yorn, Batesville, Ind.; three sisters, Ebbie Collins and Carol Prickele, both of Batesville, Ind., and Dina Darling, Knoxville, Tenn.; 28 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

His parents and one sister, Dorthy Swango, preceded him in death.

Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at the Todd Funeral Home, Rushville, Ind. with the Rev. Robert Coulter officiating.

Burial will be in the East Hill Cemetery, Rushville, Ind.

Visitation will be at the funeral home from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday.

There will be military graveside rites.
