Gene Becraft, age 50, of Rogersville, Mo., passed away at 2:50 p.m. May 1, 2004, at his home. He was born Feb. 20, 1954, in Kansas City, Mo. Survivors include his wife of 28 years, Linda; three children, Stacy, Michelle, and Michael; his father, Gene Everett Becraft; brother, Alvin; and two sisters, Sharon and Vickie. He was preceded in death by his mother, three brothers, and two sets of grandparents. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 5, at Eastlawn Cemetery, Springfield, with CJ Greer officiating. Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. tonight, May 4, at Greenlawn North.
