Beulah Marjorie Evans, 100, of Memphis, Mo., died Feb. 8, 2013, at Scotland County Care Center in Memphis.
Funeral services were 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 13, at Memphis Funeral Home in Memphis, Mo. Larry Smith officiated. Burial was in Barker Cemetery. Memorials may be given to Scotland County Care Center activity fund and may be left at or mailed to Memphis Funeral Home, 378 S. Market St., Memphis, MO 63555. Beulah Marjorie Evans, daughter of Bessie Lee (Mathes) and William Becraft. was born Dec. 22, 1912, near Downing, Mo.
Marjorie grew up near Downing.
On May 20, 1936, Marjoire married Ralph Cloice Evans.
Marjorie moved with her husband to Osceola in 1938. He died March 29, 1984.
Marjorie was a member of the First Christian Church in Osceola and active in the service of her church. Marjorie was also active in P.E.O. Chapter K. in Osceola.
She moved to Memphis in 2001 to be near her sisters.
Marjorie is survived by her son Phil Evans of Dallas, Texas; daughter Karen Carroll of San Diego, Calif.; sisters, Veatrice Goins and Dorene Moore, both of Memphis, Mo., and many nieces and nephews.
Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sister Florence Weilbrenner; brothers, Russell, Don, Eugene, Millard, Robert and Lowell Becraft and infant sister Estalene Becraft.
