Kay A. Becraft, 76, of Connersville, passed away on Wednesday, August 8, 2018. She was born on October 15, 1941, in Richmond, Indiana, and is the daughter of the late Charles Thomas Plummer and Shirley Hoover Plummer. On August 23, 1990, she married Leslie Becraft in Connersville.
She was a member of Growing Branches for Christ Church. Kay enjoyed taking care of her family and was a beloved wife, mother, grandma, and great-grandma.
She is survived by her husband, Leslie; five daughters, Denise Raines, of Connersville, Mary Jo Hardin, of Connersville, Celina King, of California, Malia Spaulding, of Connersville, and Patricia Witte, of Ft. Wayne; four sons, Cliff Venable, of California, Mike Becraft, of Connersville, Leslie Joe Becraft, of Connersville, and Michael Brown, of Ft. Wayne; three brothers, Wayne Plummer, of Connersville, Kenny (Anita) Plummer, of Connersville, and Tom Plummer, of California; three sisters, Shirley (Robert) Tomkins, of Connersville, Betty (Jeff) Taylor, of Lapel, IN, and Debbie Sexton, of Connersville; seventeen grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Jack Plummer; a sister, Joyce Jean Plummer, and an infant daughter, Joyce Jean Leach.
Visitation for Kay will be held on Monday, August 13, 2018, from 11:00am until 1:00pm, at Growing Branches for Christ Church, 3362 N. Western Ave., Connersville. The funeral service will begin at 1:00pm, at the church, with Pastor Leonard Cranfill officiating.
