He was a member of the Mason Township Baptist Church and a lifelong member of the Michigan Angus Associatino. He was aveteran, serving during World Warr II.
Surviving are his wife; two sons, Joel A. Becraft, cassopolis, and James L. Becraft, Edwardsburg; two daughters, Jacqueline E. Williams, Cassopolis, and Janice Reed, Three Rivers; 12 grandchildren; and one sister, Marie Young, Urbana, Ind.
Relatives and friends may call from 2-5 pm and 7-9pm Thursday at the Paul E. Mayhew Funeral Home, Edwardsburg, and from 9-10 am Friday at the Mason Township Baptist Church, Edwardsburg, where services are at 10 am Friday.
