Laura Bueschel, age 68, of Wausau, died Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at St. Clare's Hospital.
Laura was born in Rhinelander on September 13, 1945 to the late John and Catherine (Stevens) Becraft.
Laura enjoyed time spent with her grandkids. She taught them how to play guitar and piano. She was a lover of music, and could make a guitar pick out of a credit card. She also loved camping, card games, and board games. Laura was a faithful person who enjoyed a good debate and finding a good bargain.
Survivors include her children Dennis (Alysia) Pillsbury of Shawano, John (Kelly) Bueschel of Shawano, Laurie (Harry) Carpenter of Weston, and Tina (Joe Ritchie) Bueschel of Weyauwega; sisters Margaret (Charlie) Congleton, Theresa Shoenfelder, and Catherine Holt; grandchildren Justin, Tim, and Kayla Pieper, Shawna and Kyle Bueschel, Gage and Adriana Pillsbury, and Rhemi and Levi Bueschel; great granddaughter Victoria Pieper; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her husband Erwin Bueschel, brother John Becraft, sister Mary Becraft, and her furry companion BB Kitty.
Memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, March 31, 2014 at St. Therese Catholic Church, 113 W. Kort St., Rothschild. Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until the time of service at the church on Monday.
