Becraft Kenneth "Bud" Becraft, age 69, of Sunbury, Ohio, died Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at Heartland of Westerville. He was born November 30, 1944 in Mount Sterling, Kentucky. Bud worked for South Texas Lonestar Drywall for 32 years winning a prestigious craftsmanship award for building the Linklay Corporation Exchange in 1984. He loved fishing, casinos and his family. Bud is survived by his wife of 48 years, Patricia Becraft; son, Shawn Becraft; granddaughter, Sierra Becraft; sister, Delphia (John) Adams; mother-in-law, Wilma Schuh and sister-in-laws, Suzan Cleavenger and Penny (Gary) Roe; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Shirley Thomas and Ivian Becraft, sister Margaret (Alan) Wilson. A celebration of life will be held 2:30 p.m. Saturday, July 12 at the MORELAND FUNERAL HOME, 55 East Schrock Road, Westerville, Ohio. Rev. Deb Click officiating. A service will also be held at Lakeview United Methodist Church, 6 South Street, Berlin Heights, Ohio at a later date. Memorial contributions in Bud's name may be made to Heartland Enriching Life Hospice Care, 6500 Busch Blvd., Ste 210, Columbus, OH 43229 or to a charity of your choice.
