A school teacher in the early days of the fledgling Washington Territory, Josephine W. Beecraft died Monday at Vancouver. She was 91 years old.
Born May 3, 1874 at Walla Walla, Mrs. Beecraft had been a resident of Yacolt and Clark County since 1944.
None of her immediate famly survives her, although she has five surviving sisters-in-law in Washinton, Oregon and California.
Funeral services will begin at 1 p.m. Friday at the Vancouver Funeral Chapel with Mr. Robert Farring officiating. Interment willb e held at Park Hill Cemetery.
