Becraft on December 19, 1957, James E. the beloved husband of Annie M. Becraft (ne Dyson) of 1 Raynor Avenue, Catonsville. Funeral services will be held at the MacNabb Memorial Chapel, Frederick and Wade Avenues, Catonsville on Sunday at 2pm. Interment in Good Shepard Cemetery.• His obituary was published in the Catonsville Herald on 26 Dec 1957. James E. Becraft, 62, of No 1 Maryland Avenue, died on Thursday December 19, after a short illness. He was born in Carroll Co, but has resided in Baltimore Co for the last 45 years. Mr. Becraft was employed by the same firm for 34 years and recently worked for the Baltimore Co. Highways department.
Funeral services were held from the MacNabb Memorial Chapel on Sunday December 22, at 2 pm with Rev. Henry J. Hughs of St. Mark's Catholic Church officiating. Burial was in Good Shepard Cemetery.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Annie M. Becraft (nee Dyson), 3 children, a daughter, Mrs. George Morris, and 2 sons James and Ernest E. Also surviving are 5 grandchildren all of Catonsville and 3 brothers Francis Becraft of Reisterstown, Lawrence Becraft of Catonsville, and Morris Becraft of Dundalk.
