Gloria J. Fassett, 56, of Charlotte died Jan. 26, 1998, at Hayes Green Beach Hospital, Charlotte.
Mrs. Fassett was born in Northville, the daughter of Ivan and June (Lentz) Becraft. She had been a lifelong Charlotte area resident. She was a 1959 graduate of Vermontville High School and had been a school bus driver for the Maple Valley School District for 29 years. She was a member of the Travel Trailers of the Midwest Club and Michigan Appaloosa Horse Association. She was a former 4-H Leader and had been in the Girl Scouts of America.
She is survived by her husband, Gaylord; one daughter, Denise Olson of Charlotte; two sons, Jeffrey of Hastings and Bryan of Charlotte; seven grandchildren; her mother, June Becraft of Charlotte; one brother, Gary (Mary) Becraft of Fenwick; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Services were Jan. 29 at the Burkhead-Green Funeral Chapel, Charlotte, with Pastor Duane Royston officiating. Interment was in the West Carmel Cemetery.
