Obituary of George Becraft
George Becraft of Sterling, VA passed away on Thursday March 31, 2016 at 9:46 a.m.
Born on September 15, 1958 he was the son of the late Maurice Becraft and the late Edith O' Donald Becraft.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Ronnie Becraft and sister Geraldine Becraft.
He grew up in Capitol Heights, Maryland.
George was a Certified Payroll Supervisor for the United States Federal Courts. He held this position for 18 years and recently retired in December of 2015.
He was a member of the United States Bowling Congress and was an avid bowler.
He also enjoyed playing golf and loved the game of Hockey. The Washington Capitols being his favorite team.
He is survived by his wife Renee Becraft of Sterling, VA
A sister Linda and brother in law Ronnie of Delaware. A sister Renee S Becraft of California. Many nieces and nephews, too many to mention. he is also survived by his beloved cat, Misty.
A giant extended family which includes in laws, God child and many close and special friends.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm-2:00 pm on Wednesday April 6, 2016 at Adams Green Funeral Home.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. On Wednesday April 6, 2016.
No burial will follow service as Georges ashes will stay close to his love, his wife, Renee.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
