Gary Richard Becraft, 48, Joplin, Missouri, formerly of Springfield, died Wednesday, August 27, 2003, in St. John's Medical Center, Joplin. He was born in Springfield on May 10, 1955, to Richard Charles and Dorothy Becraft. He was a self-employed iron worker. He is survived by a son, Brian Wingo; his mother, Dorothy Becraft; five brothers and one sister, Larry Speake, West Plains, Mo., Katie Rutledge, Republic, Steven Charles Becraft, Springfield, Greg Lee Becraft, Walnut Grove, Mark David Becraft, Seymour, and James Randall Becraft, Ozark; and by a host of nieces, nephews, a brotherin-law, and sisters-in-law; and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Charles Becraft. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in White Chapel Memorial Gardens under direction of Greenlawn Funeral Home North. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today in the funeral home.
