of Sayre Dies
At age 95 years

Mrs. Etta Van Buren Palmer, 95, of 127 Second St., sayre, died at her home this morning at 12:50 o'clock.
Born at Fort Madison, Iowa, she came to Sayre in 1890 and has resided here since that time.
Mrs. Palmer was a charter member of the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church in Waverly and a member of the Berean Sunday School class of that church.
Mrs. Palmer was always active in church events especially in the entertainment and welcoming of visiting missionaries.
Surviving are four daughters, Miss Nellie Van Buren, Mrs. Grace Stewart and Mrs. Myrtle Farr, all of Sayre, and Mrs. Dorothy Stowits of Waverly; seven grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Kolb-Allgeier Funeral Home, 126 N. Elmer Ave., sayre, this evening from 7 until 9 o'clock and on Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 until 9 o'clock.
Funeral and committal services will be held at the funeral home Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Rev. Willard May, pastor of the Waverly church, and Rev. Richard Fortran, of Waverly, will officiate.
Burial will be at a later date at Tioga Point cemetery.

Funeral and committal services for Mrs. Etta Van Buren Palmer of 127 Second St., Sayre, were held yesterday afternoon at 2:30 at the Kolb-Allgeier Funeral Home, Sayre. Rev. Willard C. May, pastor of the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, and Rev. Richard Fortran of Waverly officiated.
Burial will be at a later date in Tioga Point Cemetery.
