J.M Becraft's little daughter, Ellen Trent Becraft, aged 3 years and 8 months, died Sunday morning at 6 o'clock, after ten days of suffering from diphtheria. The funeral took place Sunday afternoon at 12:30, and the remains were entered in Ridge Park. Rev. Farris conducted the funeral service. The bereaved parents have the sympathy of the entire community in their sad affliction.
