Earl Edward Becraft passed away at 2:15pm on March 10, 2014 at his home.
He was born February 26, 1934 in Menifee County Kentucky.
He is survived by his wife Erma Irene Becraft; his children, Gail & Walt Overly, Charles & Karen Becraft, Trish & Randy Rader, Steve & Lula Becraft, Brenda & Jerry Boggs, Deb & Robert Hollon; 15 grandkids; 32 great-grandkids; one great-great-grandkid; one sister, Suzie; a brother, Charles; and two nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father Charlie Becraft; his mother Stella Mae Conway; a sister, Burnice Pitts; and two children, Earl Becraft Jr. and Ronald Lee Becraft.
His favorite things in life were spending time with his family and good friends and coon hunting. He was a retired construction worker and carpenter.
Friends may call on Friday, March 14, 2014, from 9:00am until time of service, 10:00am, at the Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home. Chaplain Virgil Barker will officiate. Burial will be at Mount Hope Cemetery.

Erma Becraft
Erma Becraft, 84, of Peru, passed away on Thursday, March 26, 2020, at her residence.
She was born in Peru on May 15, 1935, to General and Martha (Clemons) Jones. She married Earl Edward Becraft in 1951. He preceded her in death on March 10, 2014. A housewife and mother, Erma enjoyed reading, gardening, and canning. She lived in Peru all of her life.
She is survived by her children: Gail (Walt) Overly, Charles (Karen) Becraft, Patricia (Randy) Rader, Steven (Lou) Becraft, Brenda (Jerry) Boggs, and Debra (Robert) Hollon, all of Peru; as well as 16 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and numerous great-great-grandchildren. Also surviving are a brother, Bob (Kay) Jones, sisters Ann Helton of New Waverly, and Sue Gibson (companion Arwood) of Peru; and sister-in-law Bonnie Edgerly.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two sons Earl Becraft and Ronnie Becraft, brother Dick Edgerly, brother Bill Edgerly, and brother-in-law Emery Helton.
A private family service will be held at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home, 105 West Third Street, Peru, Indiana. Burial will take place at Mount Hope Cemetery in Peru.
