1930-2012
Evelyn Schepp Becraft, 81, died March 2 in Vacaville, Calif.
She was born Oct. 10, 1930. A native of Cheyenne, she attended the University of Wyoming and retired from the State of Wyoming Water Commissioner office. She attended Christ Lutheran Church. Her parents owned Schepp's Grocery off Bent Avenue and an ancestor served in the cavalry out of Fort Laramie. Her ancestors go back to early railroad days in Cheyenne.
She is survived by her son, Mark Becraft and Julie Castle and their children, Steven and Brittany, and a grandson, Anthony Jr., all in northern California. She is also survived by her daughter, Ann Tishmack and husband, James, and their children, Heather Andrus and Hans Tishmack, his wife, Angela, and their daughters, Rylee and Petyon; and sister-in-law, Naomi Schepp-Nozisk and her husband, Jim, all in Cheyenne and northern Colorado.
Ms. Becraft was preceded in death by her parents, John and Margaret Schepp; brothers, Kenneth and Robert Schepp; and husband, Donald Becraft.
A service is being scheduled for the end of April.
