He was 69.

The son of the late Ronald E. and Gertrude Murrin Becraft, he was born on February 4, 1936 in Ramapo, NJ.

A Veteran, Mr. Becraft served as an intelligence tech for three tours of duty in the Vietnam War and was awarded several notorieties, including two Bronze Stars, a National Defense Service Medal, a Vietnam Service and Campaign Medal and an Army Commendation Medal.

Survivors include his family of friends.

A Memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 2, 2005 at the Rainbow Inn in Greenwood Lake, NY.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in his name to the Montrose VA Medical Center, Hudson Valley VA Hospital, 2094 Albany Post Road, Montrose, NY 10548.
