BECRAFT, David L. age 81, of Franklin, OH went home to be with our Lord on Saturday, March 15, 2014 at his residence with the family by his side. He was born December 5, 1932 in Morehead, KY to the late James Robert Becraft and Pearl Louise (Bullock) Becraft. He served in the Korean Conflict in the US Marines and retired from Armco Steel after 37 ½ years of service. David is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Hazel (Sturgill) Becraft; daughters, Kathy (Barry) Crouch, Katrinka Hendricks, Deborah (Philip) Banks, Teresa (Terry Halsey) Presley; 14 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; sister, Martha Jean Mitchell. He is preceded in death by 6 siblings. A special thank you to Tridia of Hospice and Pastor Steve Tufts and also Dr. Scott Zollett for his care. She was predeceased by : her parents, Roy Sturgill and Ruth Sturgill; her husband David L. Becraft; and her granddaughter Kaitlyn Banks. She is survived by : her children, Deborah Banks (Philip), Teresa Halsey (Mark), Kathy Crouch (Barry) and Katrinka Hendricks; her siblings, John Paul Sturgill (Tina), Carl Sturgill (Nancy), Anna Hampton (Charles) and Rita Salyers; and also, Lois and Caroline. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren.

She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister. Hazel retired from Otterbein Lebanon Senior Life Community after 15 years of service. She is survived by her children Deborah (Philip) Banks, Teresa (Mark) Halsey, Kathy (Barry) Crouch, Katrinka Hendricks; 13 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; siblings John Paul (Tina) Sturgill, Carl (Nancy) Sturgill, Anna (Charles) Hampton, Rita Salyers and her loving caregiver, Lois and Caroline. Hazel was preceded in death by her husband David L. Becraft; parents and granddaughter, Kaitlyn Banks. Hazel is in the care of Baker-Stevens-Parramore Funeral Home.
