• His obituary was published. Charles "Sonny" Edward Becraft, husband of Nancy Davis Becraft, of Jeffersonvile, passed away Wednesday, May 27, 2015. He was a 67 year old native of Montgomery County, son of the late Homer Mitchell and Jennie Mae Day Becraft, a retired employee from the State Hi-way Department, and member of Grace Fellowship Church.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Jeannette (Bubby) Hamm of Mt. Sterling, 2 grandsons, William Dalton and Wesley Scott Hamm, 4 granddaughters, Cassandra Dalton, Rebecca Hamm, Brittany Hamm, and Whitney Hamm, 2 sisters, Margaret (Bobby) Tabor and Margie Day, both of Jeffersonville, and several nieces and nephews.
His funeral will be 1:00 Friday at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals, Pastors Dale Fawns and Bobby Tabor presiding, with burial in Fortune Cemetery. Visitation is 5-8:00 Thursday.

age 57, of Bright Street, Stanton, Kentucky passed away on Friday, July 25, 2014 at her residence. Born in Stanton, Kentucky she was the daughter of Norma Faye Howell Nolan and the late Carl Nolan. She was a former County Coordinator for Kentucky River Foothills and she attended the Church of God. In addition to her father, she was also preceded in death by two brothers, Larry Nolan and James Clinton Nolan and by one sister, Judy Kaye Nolan. She is survived by her mother, Norma Faye Nolan of Stanton, Kentucky; two sons: Greg Chamberlain of Helenwood, Tennessee and Dustin (Ashley) Becraft of Stanton, Kentucky; special friend, Michael T. Scheer of Stanton, Kentucky; one brother, Roger (Ruth) Nolan of Bowen, Kentucky; two sisters: Minnie (Johnny) Willoughby of Stanton, Kentucky and Melissa (Doug) Pelfrey of Lexington, Kentucky and by five grandchildren: Nathan Clay Chamberlain, Lukas Holden Chamberlain, Bo Hunter Chamberlain, Kamryn Elizabeth Becraft and Zakary Nolan Becraft. Visitation begins at 6:00 P.M. Saturday and funeral services officiated by Bro. Anthony Molihan will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, July 27, 2014 at Hearne Funeral Home, 125 West College Avenue, Stanton, Kentucky. Interment will be in Mt.
