Bean Blossom resident Billy J. Becraft died Friday afternoon, May 1, 1998, at his home.
He was 63.
Mr. Becraft was born March 20, 1935, in Rushville to Helen Cregar Becraft.
He was married to Carol Harden. She survives in Brown County.
Mr. Becraft had worked as a warehouseman at Ryerson Steel in Indianapolis.
He was of the Apostolic Pentecostal faith.
Mr. Becraft was a United States Army veteran, serving from January to July of 1955.
Other survivors included four sons, Robert Gene Becraft of Texas, Michael Ray Becraft of Nineveh, Timothy William Becraft of Edinburgh and John Randolf Becraft of Morgantown; two daughters, Rebecca Ann Birt of Morgantown and Robin Lynn Poling of Nashville; 12 grandchildren; and a great-grand-child.
Dwight Harden and Kenny Harden led a service Monday, May 4 at the Bond-Mitchell Funeral Home on State Road 135 North.
