Betty Louise Charles, 63, of Amos Ridge Road, Frenchburg, KY, passed away Monday September 26, 2022 at University Of Kentucky Medical Center, Lexington, KY.
Betty was born December 24, 1958 and was a daughter of the late Cardwell and Olivia Fanning Becraft. She was a retired counselor at the Frenchburg Job Corp.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Ralph Charles, Sr. in 2016 and a grandson, Robert Thomas East.
Survivors include her children: Terry Charles and wife Jamie of North Carolina, Ralph Charles, Jr. and wife Becca of Mount Sterling, KY, Joseph Charles and wife Lana of Mount Sterling, KY and Sandra East and her husband Robbie of Lancaster, KY, 2 sisters: Sandy Barrier and her husband Steve of Owingsville, KY and Bridgette Becraft of Olympia, KY, 2 brothers: Steve Becraft and his wife Joan of Olympia, KY and Brad Becraft and his wife Gail of Carrollton, KY, 8 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and a special neighbor: Skip Ferrell of Frenchburg, KY.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday September 30, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Powell Funeral Home, Salt Lick, KY with Rev. Mark Caldwell officiating. Burial will follow in Polksville Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday September 29, 2022 from 6:00 PM \endash 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
