Bertha L. Becraft Purvis, 71, of 6551 E. Highway 36, Olympia, KY passed away Sunday November 13, 2022 at St. Joseph Hospital in Mount Sterling, KY.
Born February 26, 1951 in Bath County, a daughter of the late Johnnie and June Donathan Becraft. She was a former employee of Mary Chiles Hospital housekeeping department.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother: Harlen M. Becraft, 2 step-sons: Bryan Purvis and Brock Purvis, 2 step-grandchildren: Bryan Purvis and Jennifer Purvis.
Survivors include her husband, Austin Purvis, 1 sister: Etta Crouch and her husband Garrett, sisters in law: Bonnie Becraft, Ada Crouch and Allie Copher, 1 aunt: Ada Donathan and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday November 17, 2022 at 3:00 PM at Hedrick's Community Church with Rev. Randall Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in the Mann Cemetery, Olympia, KY. Visitation will be Thursday, at the church, from 1:00 PM \endash 3:00 PM.
Serving as pallbearers: Caleb Crouch, Kevin Crouch, Cody Becraft, Travis Becraft, Randy Becraft and Johnny Breshear.
