Beginning at two red oaks on a ridge on the west side of the Waggon Rd and on the East side of branch near the head of Orrich Bricks Branch, a draught of Linganore Creek. John Jones of Ann Arundel did not complete grant (7/10/1741). Assigned 68 acres to Leonard Linthicum on 3/11/1741. He in turn assigned on 2/9/1749 to George Becraft grant 9/29/1749.
68 Acres part of 250 acre grant to John Jones partly in Ann Arundel and Prince Georges Co, near place Nathaniel Jones lives near Snowdens River and near tract in possesion of John Mobberly, also upon place where John Moonshott had built a cabin.• He owned land Peace & Quietness on 29 Sep 1749. bastard child by John Howard. John pays Sarah's fine of 30 shillings.
Perhaps Sarah is Frederick's sister and Leonard is her son? Just a guess.
On p 114 in a later suit in the November Court Sarah Garrison sues George
Becraft on a debt of 3L/211 for a cow he purchased from in 1750/51. She
won and got 319.25 lbs of tobacco for court costs.
